Winthrop & Weinstine’s 48,000 square-foot office space houses more than 130 attorneys. This high-end law firm in Minneapolis needed a large number of private office along with a multipurpose training space, expanded employee break area, and shared common spaces. To provide a unique and functional workspace for their team, the new space had to incorporate the brand’s aesthetic with close attention to detail by blending old and existing finishes with the new casework and fixtures.

The team at Distinctive Cabinet Design worked collaboratively with RJM Construction and Alliance Architects—a general contractor we’ve partnered with since 2008—to achieve the project’s vision and ensure high-quality and on-time work. Distinctive Cabinet Design’s scope of work included cabinetry, door frames, wall panels and quartz countertops in various spaces including the reception area, conference rooms, break rooms, library work rooms, and multi-purpose rooms.

One highlight of the project was the use of Quarter Figured Makore, a very unique species and cut that we incorporated into the design to elevate the space.
